1.1 These WKT Competition Regulations apply to all World Karaoke Tour events. All applicants who meet this criterion are welcome and encouraged to apply to be an Entrant. WKT producers reserve the right to determine a singer’s eligibility over and above these rules. All decisions will be final.

1.2 By using or visiting the WKT website or any software, data feeds, and services provided to you on, from, or through the WKT website (collectively the "Service") you signify your agreement to (1) these WKT Rules (the "WKT Competition Regulations", the Online Event Entry Terms of Participation (the "Event Terms"), the WKT Terms of Use (the "Terms") and the WKT Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy"). If you do not agree to any of these terms & policies incorporated herein by reference please do not use the Service.

WKT may, in its sole discretion, modify or revise these Rules, Terms and Policies at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. Nothing in these Rules shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits.

2.1 World Karaoke Tour events are open to all singers regardless of status except those singers who are under a professional recording contract and/or talent management contract.

2.2 By using this Service you are certifying to WKT that you are "NOT" currently under a valid professional recording contract and/or talent management agreement.

Step 1: Create an Artist Account

Sign Up HERE to create your WKT Artist Account.

You will receive a WKT Artist number and once you've confirmed your e-mail address, you will be able to customize your Artist Profile and register for WKT Events.

Step 2: Select An Event

Once you've created your WKT Artist Account, you may select an event to participate in on the Events Page.

Step 3: Pay Entry Fee

Once you've clicked the "Register" button for the selected event and confirmed your registration, you will be sent to the payment screen to submit the Entry Fee Payment.

Registration alone does not guarantee entry into an event. Only after you have completed payment will you be confirmed as a verified entrant.

Step 4: Select a Song (limit 1 per event)

Next, you select one of the elegible songs from the Event view page and create your own video performance rendition of the Track. (Important!: Submission performances must be recorded after the Event Entry Date. Any performace submitted that was recorded previously will be rejected and you will be given a score of Zero).

Important!: Songs must be performed live using your "natural voice". Natural Voice is defined as your authentic voice being recorded directly into the camera at the time of recording and not through recording software using any type of voice modulation including but not limited to, auto-tune, reverb, delay, echo, gate, etc; Use of a powered Microphone to amplify your voice during a performance is perfectly acceptable as long as it does not use any voice modulation. WKT event song submissions cannot be pre-recorded and then synched or lip-synched to a video performance. If using a voice/song recording app such as "Smule" that has built-in voice modulation settings, you must submit your song with those settings turned off. Any song submitted not following these rules will be automatically given a score of zero (0).

Step 5: Submit Song

Upload your performace to one of the WKT "Approved Video Sharing Sites" and submit the link to us on the Song Submission Page. (Important!: Submission performances that are not viewable as per the instructions below will be rejected and you will be given a score of Zero).

Step 6: Judging & Results

Wait for judging to be completed and see how you placed!

9.1 The WKT Fairness Policy is in place to protect Artists from potential bias judging that can adversely affect event results.

9.2 WKT software detects any variation in judging that is a 2 full point discrepancy or greater. (Ex. If Judge "A" rates a singer's Vocal Express a 4.5 and Judge "B" rates the same singer a 2.5 the software flags this judging decision automatically.)

9.3 Every Event's judging process is finalized by an Administrative judge that has been assigned to the event by the Event Producer.

9.4 This Judge is responsible for certifying that all results have been tabulated within the WKT Fairness Policy.

9.5 Once the Administrative Judge determines that judging has been completed, the event is locked and results are published and WKT World Ranking points are issued.
